The Placerville Police Officer’s Association is Hosting the 35th Annual Hangtown Destruction Derby Sunday August 17th, 2008.  This event is the longest running Police Association sponsored event of its kind.  We are proud to continue with this traditional family and community oriented event.  Your support is graciously appreciated and critical to our successful fundraising endeavors.
The Placerville Police Officer’s Association’s 35th Hangtown Destruction Derby is our primary fundraiser.  Monies generated from this event is years past have gone to help with several Placerville Police Department programs as well as contributed to various community programs such as youth sports and children’s charities including our annual Children’s Christmas Party for under privileged children.  The Placerville Police Officer’s Association is committed to a partnership with the police department and our citizens in an effort to improve the quality of life and to promote a safer community.
We ask from our supporters to contribute to our cause though sponsorships which help offset the rising costs of planning, promoting, and presenting our primary fundraising event.  Some of these costs are redirected back to our community by employing local businesses for our event needs.    We promote this event ourselves so there is no overhead costs of an outside promoter.  100% of all proceeds from this event benefit the Placerville Police Officer’s Association and our commitment to the community.

Head-On $500
Full page program ad 8.5 x 11, t-shirt listing, announcer recognition, 6 event entry tickets and 6 complementary invitations to our Kick Off BAR B QUE.
Broadside $350
Half page program ad, announcer recognition, 4 event entry tickets and 4 complementary invitations to our Kick Off BAR B QUE.
Sideswipe $200
Quarter page program ad, announcer recognition, 2 event entry tickets and 2 complementary invitations to our Kick Off BAR B QUE.
Fender Bender $100
Business card size program ad, and 2 complementary invitations to our Kick Off BAR B QUE.

We will gladly accept donated items for our raffle such as your company products, merchandise, or gift certificates to be raffled off at our event. We would also graciously accept any cash donation that fits your budget. We will be happy to provide announcer recognition for these donations.

Sponsors- Simply include your advertisement design with your donation and we will print it in our event program.   Our event program will be handed out free to our spectators at the event.  Sponsorships advertisements must be submitted by July 18th 2008 so that we may property prepare you advertisement.  Sponsorships and donations may be made directly to the Placerville Police Officer’s Association in person or by mail at the Placerville Police Department located at 730 Main Street Placerville, Ca. 95667.
